Where did you last paddle?
The river Dart. Lovely river.

Where will your next big boating mission take you?

Back to Norway to do what I love – big slides!

Do you have a favourite spot/drop/rapid/move?
Abroad I love riding laterals on big slides. More locally small drops are great fun, You can’t beat a reliable auto-boof like the top drop on the Mellte (South Wales)

What paddling trip should everybody make at least once?
Everyone should go on at least one multi-day expedition. It makes you focus on making those key moves when the consequence of missing could be a lost boat and no clothes/food for a few days rather than just a cold swim. Also it’s just great fun to go on a big adventure!

What advice do you have for anybody wanting to take their paddling to the next level?
Try and paddle with people who are better than you, train very hard, be very determined and don’t forget that paddling is meant to be fun!

Who are your paddling heroes?
My friends that I go paddling and adventuring with, especially some of the Palm/Dagger gang like Dave Carroll, Matt Tidy, Ed Smith, Cheese and Tim

All time favourite piece of Palm kit?
The all in one plum ladies drysuit. Lush!

Favourite type of Pie?
I’m more of a soup person, but recently my parents gave me a big bag of apples from their orchard and I made a Delia cheat apple pie – that was amazing.
